About Heartland Soccer Association

Heartland Soccer Association is recognized as the largest soccer league and tournament host in the United States.

Heartland league and tournaments are held at the world class all-turf soccer facilities of SCHEELS Overland Park Soccer Complex, Swope Soccer Village, Compass Minerals Sporting Fields and GARMIN Olathe Soccer Complex.

Heartland league embraces players of all skill levels, from recreational to premier-level teams. Annually, over 170 soccer clubs engage in spirited competition through the Heartland League, spanning Spring, Fall, and Winter leagues. With more than 3,450 teams and 55,000 youth players aged 9 to 19, numerous age groups feature up to 9 subdivisions, providing ample opportunities for players and teams to compete against similarly skilled opponents.

Beyond league play, Heartland Soccer Association hosts 14 exceptional tournaments annually, drawing in over 2,700 teams and 59,000 youth players from across 16 states, including Texas, Minnesota, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Illinois, as well as participants from Mexico and Canada.

In both leagues and tournaments, the Heartland community extends beyond players, encompassing 4,000 coaches and 2,000 referees each year who actively contribute to the soccer experience.
